       On the plus side: An 18-year-old girl works as a welder in a steel mill by day, a passionate dancer by night. Not believable, but nice idea. Joan Jett’s ‘I Love Rock’n’Roll’ for a few seconds. The street dancing. The receptionist. Echoes of Billy Elliot.

       On the negative side: The ugly dog. The clichéd and shallow characters. The stupid story. The mediocre (well, bad) acting. The stupid jokes. The lame love story (stories). The religious nonsense. The gender stereotypes. The soft porn disguised as dancing.

       Echoes, yes, but Billy Elliot it so isn’t. It’s lightyears away.

       Still, what a feeling, eh?

PS We had to watch Billy Elliot yesterday evening just to clear our senses with a real dance movie.
