Lucky wanders around his little desert
town, same routine every day. Though he’s in amazingly good health for his age,
he can’t avoid the fact that he’s bound to die soon.
It’s not a bad film, it’s just not very
interesting. Despite the subject – being afraid of encroaching death – it’s not
as profound as it thinks it is. It has its moments and yes, Stanton is good in
his last role, but it’s actually a bit shallow and boring at times.
