  • Seen:  29 November 2023

Seven thousand years ago the Eternals were sent to Earth on a mission to protect the planet from the Deviants. When the Deviants are defeated, the Eternals stay on earth to experience its richness. They visit Babylon, Tenochtitlan, Gupta, and modern-day London.

Very lavish, very colourful. We get to know several of the Eternals – their romances, their conflicts, their struggles with living forever and never aging, their loyalty to each other, their X-men like superpowers.

So, the answer to the above question? Yes, it is ponderous at times, and too long, but it’s also funny now and then, I like the actors, and on the whole, I’m enjoying it more than I expected to.
