Oh no, not another vampire film
?!?!
Yapp. Philosophy doctoral student Cathy (Taylor) is
bitten by a vampire in a back alley in NY and starts craving human blood
herself. But there the similarities to other vampire films end. For one thing,
it’s in black and white, which I always like. There are a lot of discussions
about philosophy, morality, evil, free will. The parallels with drug addiction,
war and lust are clear.
And the Christopher Walken shows
up.
It’s the weirdest vampire film I’ve seen (is that a weird sentence?) and possibly the best.
