Here’s a paradox. I love books
and films, but I don’t usually like books and films about authors and actors.
Story: Riggan (Keaton) is a
washed-up former super-hero actor who is trying to create some self-esteem by
writing, directing, and starring in a Broadway adaption of a Raymond Carver
story.
It must be said that the acting
in this film is brilliant but the film? Yeah, well, it’s a film about actors.
It’s kind of boring. I think Imitation Game should have won the Oscar
for Best Film.
But for the acting alone
3* of 5
