Forensic psychiatrist Cara Harding (Moore) is given an interesting patient by her psychiatrist father (DeMunn). The patient is David (Rhys Meyers), or is he Adam (Rhys Meyers)? Multiple personality or hoax? Psychology or possession? Science or religious hocus pocus?

Directed by two Swedes, this film has very mixed reviews on IMDb. Some hate it, some quite like it. I’m on the quite-like-it team because it’s enigmatic and well-acted.

Agreed, it does get weird and weirder but that kind of works for me. It’s a cool mix of believable and supernatural – but exciting! – nonsense.
