Rose (Mirren) is dying of cancer. She is a
hired killer. She and her adopted son/lover Mikey (Gooding) are hired to kill a
gang of bad guys by the bad guy boss, super Christian Clayton (Dorff), who also
hires them to kill his wife Vicki. Only when Rose enters the bedroom to shoot
her, Vicki, hugely pregnant, proceeds to give birth. Rose and Mikey become
midwives. And that’s only the beginning. An unusual assassin film with complex
characters and good actors.
