Theodore (Phoenix) is a newly divorced,
unhappy, isolated writer who buys an AI companion (Johansson’s voice) who will
respond to and fulfil his every need. The acting is, of course, just fine, but
I can’t get into the story. Too close to rom com. A disappointment.
