       George (Hoskins) is just out of prison. His wife won’t let him see their teen-aged daughter.

       He gets a job from his old gang, chauffeuring a high-class call girl Simone (Tyson) from one luxury hotel to the next. She regards him as an idiot, mostly because he is. An angry idiot.  But they slowly discover that they can help each other. Maybe.

       It’s a sordid and dangerous world. And a very sad one.

       Hoskins is at his best and Tyson is outstanding in her film debut.
