It’s not Victor Hugo but the title was chosen deliberately, and the
characters are aware that their situation is similar to the novel.
Racial and ethnic conflicts are rife in this Parisian suburb. Police brutality
is a way of life, tension and hostility are rampant.
A kid with a drone video camera happens to film a shooting.
It’s not the Paris we tourists see.
The revolution is not over, people.
