Turn
of the century, Florence. Young Lucy (HB-C) and her older cousin (Smith) are
spending the summer there.
Romantic
love story, tourist views of Italy, study of Edwardian mores…and boring. This marvellous
cast is wasted. But many love the film and it was nominated for lots of Oscars.
But not my cup of tea, I’m afraid.
