        In 1966 teen-aged Peggy (Follows) was kidnapped by the deranged Mountain Man (Morse) in rural Pennsylvania. He tells her he loves her and though he’s violent, cruel and terrifying, she comes to realise that he is desperately lonely and unloved.

       It’s quite interesting and well done without sensationalism or demonising the villain, but it doesn’t really lift either.
