Another perfect (but of course dysfunctional) white, suburban, well-to-do American family who suffers a tragedy and they all must deal with grief. Does this seem like a same-old same-old film because I saw the very good The Greatest a week ago (https://rubyjandsfilmblog.blogspot.com/2022/09/the-greatest.html) or is it really same-old same-old? In any case, it’s hard to care for any of these peculiar and unlikeable people. Not even Sigourney Weaver can lift it much.
