Eddie Valiant (Hoskins) is a
down-on-his-luck private eye in LA in the 40’s in a world in which cartoon
characters, like Roger Rabbit, are real. I have no trouble buying the concept.
It could have been brilliant.
Instead, it’s just silly. Even Hoskins cannot save this long-winded juvenile mess.
